Another Need To

I need to start labeling and dating things. I used to be very good at this but since I was forced to become an adult, I have gotten lazy and have fallen WAY behind... we're talking years here. I am saddened by this because I love finding things and knowing when they came into my life; things like presents and pictures. Presents always start to run together as the years go by and I would really enjoy knowing now and even more the older I get. I have a spoon collection for example; even as memorable as the spoons are, it is hard to keep up with who gave me which; I have over 60... s

So, I vow to begin labeling photos and gifts as soon as I get them, starting today.

August 27, 2010 (less than one month away) - the whole world will be waiting for the night it will look like the earth has 2 moons. Apparently, Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky in August and it will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. On August 27th, Mars will come within 34.65M miles of earth.

Be sure to watch the sky on August 27th at 12:30 am.!! It may look like the earth has 2 moons.

The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287. Share this with your friends as NO ONE ALIVE TODAY will ever see it again!!!!

Need to do: Smileys!!!

I need to take pictures of all my smiley collectibles. I also need more space so I can have a room devoted to these collectibles. I have a million gazillion and I would love to see them all displayed proudly. =)

Thanks to my entire family for years and years of helping me collect my beloved smileys. You truly out did yourselves. Thanks Mom, Aunt Lynn, Dad and Cindy! Your thoughts are still with me and the smileys!

P.S. This is a new topic. "Need To's" refers to all the little... and big things I need to do; those I think of randomly, those that I have been neglecting, those than are crazy and fun, etc. I'll probably need to add a follow-up topic to include all the wonderful accomplishments that will come from the "Need To's."
